Refund & Cancellation Policy

Important Notice

This policy applies to purchases made through the Sangya Solar platform operated by SANGYA SOLAR PRIVATE LIMITED. Please read carefully before making any purchase.

1. Solar Materials Refund Policy

Eligible for Full Refund

  • Order cancelled within 24 hours of placement and before dispatch
  • Product received is defective or damaged
  • Wrong product delivered
  • Product significantly different from description

Partial Refund (After Deductions)

  • Cancellation after 24 hours but before dispatch: 5% processing fee deducted
  • Return of unused product within 7 days: Shipping charges deducted
  • Product returned with minor damage: Depreciation charges apply

Not Eligible for Refund

  • Product already installed or used
  • Return request after 7 days of delivery
  • Damage caused by customer mishandling
  • Custom-ordered or specially procured items
  • Products without original packaging/documentation

2. Installation Services Cancellation Policy

Note: If installation is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances on our end, a full refund will be processed within 7-10 business days.

3. Refund Processing Time

Refund timelines may vary based on your bank's processing time. Amount will be credited to the original payment method.

4. How to Request a Refund

  1. Contact Support: Email us at ceo@sangyasolar.com or call +91-9450001209 with your order/booking number
  2. Provide Details: Include reason for refund request, photos (if product issue), and any relevant documentation
  3. Verification: Our team will review your request within 48 hours
  4. Approval & Processing: Once approved, refund will be initiated as per the timelines mentioned above
  5. Confirmation: You will receive an email confirmation once the refund is processed

5. Special Circumstances

Government Subsidy-Related Orders

For PM Surya Ghar or other subsidy-linked projects, cancellation may affect your subsidy eligibility. Please consult with our team before cancelling such orders.

Bulk/Commercial Orders

For orders above ₹5,00,000, customized cancellation terms may apply as per the purchase agreement.

Force Majeure

In case of natural disasters, government restrictions, or other unforeseeable events, we will work with you on a case-by-case basis for refunds or rescheduling.

6. Dispute Resolution

If you are not satisfied with the refund decision, you may escalate by writing to our grievance officer at ceo@sangyasolar.com. We aim to resolve all disputes within 30 days. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to arbitration under Indian Arbitration Act, 1996.
